The Gallery - Autumn

I took this one from my kitchen window during breakfast. We are so blessed with the view, and I've spent many mornings hanging out of a window with my camera, trying to catch what I see. The photos at this time of year are my favourites. That gorgeous golden glow from the low sun, highlighting the beautiful tapestry of autumn colours so perfectly.

My neighbour's horse just happened to be in the right place at the right time for this shot! The crisp, light frost and the sun glinting through the hazy early morning mist, bring a stillness and sense of calm - as well as the promise of a bright, show-stopping autumn day.

The Gallery theme this week is Autumn

  3. Beautiful. I was out early with the dog today and had similar cold crisp sunrise as reward for my pains. It's weather like this that makes Autumn my favourite season.

    1. Thank you :) We're very lucky - sometimes feel I need to take the time to appreciate the view more. Easy with busy lives to overlook what's right there in front of you!

    1. Thanks MummaG - have to say the calm wasn't reflected in what was going on behind me when I was snapping away! The kids took full advantage of my attention being elsewhere! x
